As our courses mirror Australian-accredited content, you can save your transcripts. You may be able to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for some units that make up a certain qualification.
Our Story
The Innovation Academy was founded by Australian Vocational and Education and Training (VET) experts, Sally Tansley and Brooke Lombard. Sally and Brooke both have extensive experience in the education sector in Australia and together own one of Australia’s leading educational resource businesses, RTO Works, which offers consulting services and premium training and assessment resources to universities, colleges and TAFEs across Australia.
Together, they have experience in the United Kingdom, Southern Africa and Australia including curriculum development, consulting and auditing in the education sector which puts them in a unique position to extend that knowledge outside of the VET sector to provide non-accredited short online courses that are relevant, engaging and mirror nationally recognised Australian training curriculum.
Sally Tansley
Sally has been advising Australian vocational education and training (VET) providers for over 20 years. As a well-known industry leader, she has spearheaded the development of quality and compliant learning and assessment resources in the VET sector in Australia, in addition to providing outstanding consultancy and auditing services not just for training providers, but also for industry stakeholders and government agencies. Sally has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, a Masters in Public Sector Economics and vocational qualifications in auditing, marketing and training and assessment.
Brooke Lombard
Brooke is an education quality and compliance professional with extensive business management expertise. She has worked on major development projects across many educational training packages including business, aviation security, community services, childcare, leadership and management, massage and health. She is a qualified training developer and trainer/assessor in Australia and has vocational qualifications in business, accounting, bookkeeping and training design and development. She has experience across the VET sector in both compliance and resource development.
